BSc: Industrial Chemistry (110/110), July 17th, 1997, University of Bologna. Dissertation title: "Optimization of an industrial catalyst for the production of phthalic anhydride". Supervisor: Prof. F. Trifirò.

University Diploma in Chemistry, with Distinction, June 28th, 1995, Kent University (GB), (Erasmus Project Framework). Dissertation Title: “Characterisation of novel water soluble dendritic macromolecules”. Supervisor: Dr. J. Mitchell.

PhD: Industrial Chemistry, March 2nd, 2001, University of Bologna. Dissertation title: "Synthesis and characterization of poly(alchylene terephthalate)s and their reactive blending with aliphatic carbonates". Supervisor: Prof. C. Berti.


International collaboration at the General Electric Corporate Research and Development, Niskayuna - NY (USA). The research was carried out for 8 months (1999-2000). Supervisor: Dr. B. Chisholm.

Fellowship (2001-2005) of the University of Bologna under the supervision of Prof. C. Berti. Project title: "New catalysts for the reactive blending of polymeric systems".
