Short Bio

Associate professor at the University of Bologna, she conducts researches in macromolecular chemistry. In particular, her research interests are directed to the synthesis and characterization of new polymer materials, preparation of composites and nanocomposites. Currently she focuses the research on polymers from renewable sources and their mechanical reinforcement with natural fibers and inorganic fillers, on the valorization of industrial agro-industrial wastes and on the end of life of polymeric materials.

Co-author of about 68 pubblications in peer reviewed international journals; h index= 23; 1483 citations (Scopus).

Partner in European and Horizon Europe Projects: NoAW (2016-2020), Agrimax (2016-2020), PROLIFIC (2018-2022), Usable Packaging (2019-2022), Preserve (2021-2025),MAR2PROTECT (2022-2026), Agriloop (2018-2026).

Scientific Coordinator of the research unit of UNIBO in the European Project (H2020) TERMINUS (2019-2023).
