Irina Marchesini is associate professor in Russian Studies at the Department of Languages, Literatures, and Modern Cultures (LILEC). She has taught Russian Language, Culture and Institutions at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. During the academic years 2016-2017 and 2017-2018 she has also collaborated with the Institute of Higher Education Carlo Bo (Bologna campus), lecturing on Consecutive Interpreting, Liaison Interpreting and Specialized Translation from Russian to Italian. In March 2023 she was nominated referee for scholars at risk.
