Research

Keywords: Molecular Biology droplet digital PCR obligate parasites early detection of plant pathogens fungicides resistance and related mutations fungicide mode of action - drug target interaction ecology and epidemiology of plant pathogens Conservation Detection Dogs (CDDs)

The research lines focus on the study of the activity of both natural and synthetic compounds against plant pathogenic fungi, with in-depth investigation of their modes of action, resistance mechanisms, and the biochemical interactions between different groups of inhibitors. To this end, innovative molecular methodologies are employed.

Another line of research involves the use of Conservation Detection Dogs (CDD) for the early detection of plant diseases, in collaboration with various national and international institutions
