Ira Torresi

I have been an Associate Professor of the University of Bologna since 2015. My main research fields are translation (of James Joyce's Ulysses, and of promotional and advertising texts, with particular reference to visual elements and/or gender and cultural aspects) and interpreting (in particular, Child Language Brokering). I am part of the Board of the PhD programme in Translation, Interpreting, Intercultural Studies and of the Editorial committee of the academic journal, mediAzioni. Go to the Curriculum vitae
