Curriculum vitae

Actual position: Third-year Ph.D. student within the Ph.D. course in Health, Safety and Green Systems (XXXVII cycle). She carries out her research activities at Department of Medical and Surgical Sciences (DIMEC), with a project entitled "Anti-doping analysis in sports: new methods on biological samples to protect athlete health and safety” supervised by Dr. Guido Pelletti. The aim of the project is to develop innovative methods for anti-doping analysis that are advantageous in terms of sample stability, feasibility in the sample collection phase, accurate in terms of reliability of results and leading to overall reductions in analysis time and costs.

 

December 2020: Master's Degree in Molecular and Applied Biology with forensic curriculum at the Department of Mathematical, Physical and Natural Sciences of the University of Florence, with an experimental thesis entitled "Determination of the endogenous level of GHB in body hair”, in the forensic toxicology laboratory at the Careggi Hospital in Florence coordinated by Professor Elisabetta Bertol.

 

October 2018: Bachelor's Degree in Biological Sciences at the Department of Biosciences and Territory of the University of Molise, with a thesis in the microbiological field, entitled "Flagellar expression in clinical isolates of non-typeable Haemophilus influenzae", at the microbiology laboratory coordinated by Prof. Gino Naclerio.

 

Scientific production: publication of a scientific paper published in an international, peer-reviewed scientific journal and a poster contribution within an international scientific congress.
