Giuseppina Paola Viscardi

Qualified as Associate Professor (09/04/2018) for the research Area 11/A4, SSD M-STO/06 History of religions, she has been Associate Professor at Alma Mater Studiorum University of Bologna since November 2021. She holds a PhD in Ancient History from the University of Naples "Federico II" (2011) and a two-year post-doctoral research grant from the University of Salerno (2016-2018). She attended seminars at the former Gernet-Glotz Center (current AnHiMA) in Paris and collaborated with the Department of Greek Philology and Indo-European Linguistic at the Complutense University of Madrid. She is a member of the IAHR, EASR, SISR; of SIS and AICC. She currently collaborates with the Complutense University of Madrid, the University of Helsinki and the Jagiellonian of Krakow as coordinator of the UNA Europa Seed Funding 2019 Project: LARES - Language and Religion: Lexical Change and Variation in Ancient Religious Enculturation/Acculturation Phenomena (site.unibo.it/lares). She recently edited the Italian translation of the collection of essays by Armin W. Geertz, Approcci cognitivi ed evoluzionistici alla religione (Pàtron, 2020). Go to the Curriculum vitae
