ACTUAL POSITION

She has been retired from the University of Bologna since 1 November 2018. She is currently a free adjunct professor of Psychology of Adolescence at the Department of Mathematics (Master's Degree, didactic focus) and lecturer in a teaching module of Developmental Tasks in adolescence at the Department of Education of the University of Bologna.

EDUCATION

Baccalaureate classical at the high school-gymnasium “G. D. Romagnosi” of Parma in 1967.

Bachelor Degree in Philosophy at the Faculty of Letters and Philosophy of the University of Bologna on 03/04/1972 (110 cum laude).

PhD in Psychology (Doctorat de 3ème Cycle) at the Université de Paris X (Nanterre) obtained on 10/16/1986, thesis director prof. René Zazzo, mention "très bien". Title of the doctoral thesis: Les représentations du changement de soi en période adolescente.

ACADEMIC HISTORY

Full Professor of Social Psychology from 1 October 2007 to 31 October 2018 at the University of Bologna, Department of Education.

Associate Professor of Social Psychology from 1 March 2001 to 30 September 2007 at the University of Bologna, Department of Education.

Assistant Professor of Social Psychology from January 1980 to 28 February 2001 at the University of Bologna, Department of Education.

EXPERIENCE ABROAD

Stagiaire de recherche 1973-1974 in Paris at the Laboratoire de Psycho-Biologie de l'Enfant, E.P.H.E., then directed by prof. René Zazzo. She attended the seminars organized by prof. Zazzo and collaborators both at the Ecole des Hautes Etudes and at the Université de Paris X (Nanterre).

She was a student of the Summer School in experimental social psychology of the E.A.E.S.P. (European Association of Experimental Social Psychology) at the University of Oxford (UK) in August 1976

Visiting Student at the Department of Psychology, then directed by prof. Henri Tajfel, of the University of Bristol in June-July 1979. In that period she carried out research work under the supervision of prof. Tajfel and his assistant professors.

Winner of a followship from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, she held this role from 01/11/1975 to 30/04/1976 at the Laboratoire de Psycho-Biologie de l'Enfant (E.P.H.E.) in Paris, directed by prof. René Zazzo.

Teaching activity

She has taught Social Psychology, Group Psychology, Psychology of Adolescence, Psychology of Social Transitions mainly at the Faculty of Education at the University of Bologna.

Contract professor for the summer semester by the University of Bern (Switzerland), Institute of Psychology, in the academic years 1988-89 and 1998-99, he held lessons and organized an experiential internship, held on both occasions in Bologna, for a group of psychology students.

Scientific activity

The main research themes are three: 1) adolescence considered in its psychosocial dimensions (construction of identity, relations with pairs and parents, time perspective, justice in classroom, etc.); 2) social representations; 3) social psychology of groups.
