Giuseppe Lisanti

Giuseppe Lisanti is currently an Associate Professor at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering of the University of Bologna. He has been Junior Assistant Professor at the University of Pavia in 2018. From 2012 to 2017, he was Postdoctoral Researcher at the Media Integration and Communication Center of the University of Florence. He received the PhD degree from the University of Florence in 2012. He co-authored 39 papers in the most prestigious journals and conferences in computer vision, multimedia analysis, pattern recognition and machine learning and received the best paper award at the IEEE Computer Society Workshop on Biometrics in 2017. He participated to the organisation of international workshops and tutorials at conferences of international relevance. He has also been part of the program committee of several conferences and workshops of international relevance. He is involved in research collaborations with other research centers, both national and international and he has actively been participating in various roles in several research projects and a number of industry-funded projects.
