Full professor at the Department of Veterinary Medical Sciences of the University of Bologna and Head of Department since 2018. Teacher of Veterinary Pathological Anatomy and Veterinary Oncology. Routine activity deals with necropsy, cytopathology and histopathology. Research activity mainly concerns comparative oncology, in particular the role of molecular disruption in animal oncology as diagnostic, prognostic and predictive markers; environmental carcinogenesis; histological methods relevant to prognosis in animal oncology; diagnostic cytology. Author of 109 peer-reviewed international indexed publications; contributions in 7 textbooks (orcid.org/0000-0003-1857-7329).
