- The role of tyrosine kinase receptors (KIT, EGFR, PDGFR, VEGFR) and their pathways disruption in animal oncology, as diagnostic, prognostic and predictive markers, especially in canine and feline mast cell tumors, gastrointestinal tumors, squamous cell carcinoma and lung cancer

- Environmental carcinogenesis

- Histological methods relevant to prognosis in animal oncology, especially (a) the histological evaluation of surgical margins following the excision of malignant skin tumors in dogs and cats; (b) histological and cytological grading of canine and feline mast cell tumors

- Diagnostic cytology

- canine and feline gastrointestinal disorders, especially the differential diagnosis between chronic enteropathies (IBD, LPE) and alimentary lymphoma, aiming at the comparison of histological, immunohistochemical and molecular (PARR) methods
