She holds a PhD in Law and Society from the University of Milan. She is a member of the editorial boards of Studi sulla Questione Criminale, Antigone, and Justice, Power and Resistance, and served as Assistant Editor of the European Journal of Criminology (2017–2020). She is a member of the organising committee of the Master’s programme in Critical Criminology and Social Security (University of Padua/University of Bologna) and co-coordinator of the Working Group “Criminology of Mobility” of the European Society of Criminology. She is co-founder of the Translocal law researh collective and participates in national and international academic networks. Her research focuses on internal border control, policing practices, and administrative detention in CPRs, as well as critical digital criminology, predictive policing, and gendered analyses of imprisonment.
