Gianluca Allegro

Assistant Professor at the Department of Agricultural and Food Sciences, from 2004 has been conducting his researches on the Viticulture for wine production. His studies regarded many aspects of grapevine cultivation but in the last decade were focused in particular on the adaptation of Vitis vinifera to the climate change and on the phenolic maturity of the red berry varieties. Author of several publications both on international journals with high impact factor and professional magazines, he is member of the scientific committees of international congresses focused on viticulture. He got the Master Degree in Agricultural Sciences and Technologies in 2003, the Bachelor Degree in Viticulture and Enology in 2011 and the PhD in Agricultural, Environmental and Food Science and Technology in 2017.
