1) Nanomechanical characterization of eukariotic cells.

2) Development of biosensors based on the assembly of nucleic acids in the nanoscale for intracellular or diagnostic applications.

3) Development and characterization of multifunctional fluorescent naoparticles for diagnostics (in collaboration with local companies).

4) Development of advanced dynamic 3D cell culture techniques for the testing of pharmaceuticals, chemicals and nanostructures. 

candidates can also choose amongst internship projects at related laboratories abroad: the projects need to be confirmed and defined in detail at the moment of interest.
