Geraldina Boni

A Full Professor since 2006, she is the author of about fifteen monographs and many essays published in Italian and foreign journals, also in other languages. She organized and gave lectures in both national and international Conferences. She is a member of the most important associations in her field and she was elected to the Boards of Directors. She is the Editor of the one hundred and fifty years old class A interdisciplinary journal Archivio giuridico Filippo Serafini and of the series Un’anima per il diritto: andare più in alto, as well as a member of the Scientific Board of various journals. She is a member of the Academic Board of the PhD Program in Legal Studies and of the Research Evaluation Committee of the University of Bologna, often working in such field (evaluation of PRIN and other projects, GEV-ANVUR). In 2011 she was appointed by Benedict XVI as a Consultor of the Pontifical Council for Legislative Texts, and she was confirmed by Francis to the corresponding Dicastery. By Decree of the President of the Council of Ministers of 10 August 2023, she was appointed as President of the Commission for the agreements with religious denominations and for religious freedom.
