Geraldina Boni

A Full Professor since 2006, she is the author of over twenty monographs and many essays in Italian and foreign journals, in various languages. She has organized and lectured at national and international Conferences. She is a member of leading associations in her field and was elected to the Boards of Directors. She has been and still is responsible for research projects. She is the Editor of the 150-year-old Class A interdisciplinary journal Archivio giuridico Filippo Serafini and of the series Un’anima per il diritto: andare più in alto, as well as a member of the Scientific Board of various journals. She is a member of the Academic Board of the PhD Program in Legal Studies and served for two terms on the University of Bologna Research Evaluation Committee, working often in such field (evaluation of PRINs and other projects, GEV-ANVUR). In 2011 Benedict XVI appointed her Consultor of the Pontifical Council for Legislative Texts, and Francis confirmed her in the corresponding Dicastery. By DPCM of 10/08/2023, she was appointed President of the Commission for Agreements with Religious Denominations and for Religious Liberty, and was confirmed by DPCM of 15/06/2026.
