Short Bio

Francesco Poggi is a Researcher at the Institute for Cognitive Science and Technology (ISTC) of the Italian National Research Council (CNR). He received a PhD in Computer Science in 2015 from the University of Bologna (Italy) studying methodologies and models for the extraction of patterns from electronic documents. He has published more than 50 scientific papers in international journals, conferences and workshops. Among his research interests are Software Engineering, Information Visualization, Cognitive and Human Computing and Science of Science. He is principal investigator for the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia of the funded project ”Big Data Analysis” (see Prot. n. 87806, Decr. n. 308/2020) and for the MIUR-ANVUR of the funded research project ”Uniform Representation of Curricular Attributes” (see articolo 4 of the Concorso Pubblico di Idee di Ricerca, bando ANVUR, 12 Feb. 2015), and he worked as researcher in many international and national research projects.
