Francesco Lo Franco received the master's degree (cum laude) in Electrical Engineering from the University of Bologna in 2019. In 2023, he discussed the thesis "Power Flow Forecasting and Smart Charging for Electric Vehicle Charging Systems with Photovoltaic Integration" receiveing the Ph.D. degree in "Automotive Engineering for Intelligent Mobility" at the Department of Electrical Electronic and Information Engineering (University of Bologna).
From 2023 to 2025, he served as assistant professor (RTDA) at the same department. He currently holds the position of Innovation Manager at Syniergy S.r.l., where he coordinates R&D activities in the fields of photovoltaics, renewable energy, and stationary energy storage systems.
His research interests include electric mobility, charging systems, photovoltaics, battery storage systems and their integration through energy management systems and smart-charging techniques.
