Francesco Lo Franco received the master's degree (cum laude) in Electrical Engineering from the University of Bologna in 2019. In 2023, he discussed the thesis "Power Flow Forecasting and Smart Charging for Electric Vehicle Charging Systems with Photovoltaic Integration" receiveing the Ph.D. degree in "Automotive Engineering for Intelligent Mobility" at the Department of Electrical Electronic and Information Engineering (University of Bologna).
He is currently an Assistant Professor at the same department. His research interests include electric mobility, charging systems, photovoltaics, battery storage systems and their integration through energy management systems and smart-charging techniques.
