The research themes:

• Landscape design and in particular the use of nature-based solutions (NbS) to improve the quality of open spaces and their liveability and to mitigate the effects of the climate crisis.

• Project and active conservation of landscapes and open spaces aimed at capturing and telling the history, changes and identity of a place in continuous evolution, accompanying the evolutionary processes of the territory without freezing it in an arbitrarily defined time, but also highlighting the social, economic and ecological potential and involving the sensitivity and interests of the community.
