Federico Fallavollita is an architect and associate professor at the University of Bologna, where he teaches
architectural drawing. He holds a degree with honours in Architecture and a
PhD in Representation Sciences from Sapienza University of Rome. His research focuses on descriptive geometry, survey methodologies, and 3D digital modelling. He has presented at international conferences and contributed to academic publications, including
Geometria Descrittiva by Riccardo Migliari and the critical edition of Piero della Francesca’s
De Prospectiva Pingendi. In recent years, he has explored hypothetical virtual reconstruction, co-authoring studies such as
The Critical Digital Model for the Study of Unbuilt Architecture. He coordinated the Erasmus+ project
CoVHer, involving five European countries, aimed at developing shared methodologies for digital reconstruction, which resulted in operational guidelines and a dedicated MOOC
