Federica Tarabusi

Associate Professor of Cultural Anthropology at the Department of Education Studies, she is actually director of the Professional Master in "International cooperation and educational inclusion: new professional challenges". She is part of the scientific board of both the Centre of Gender and Education Studies (CSGE) and the recearch center on Mobility Diversity and social Inclusion (MODI) at the Department of Education Studies. Her research interests include development, anthropology of humanitarian aid and decentralized cooperation (doing mainly fieldwork in Bosnia-Herzegovina), ethnography of multiculturalism and migration processes from gender and generational perspectives, local reception policies towards migrants (in the Emilia-Romagna region), ethnography of public policies, second generation immigrants, applied anthropology.
