Tenure Track Researcher at the Department of Interpreting and Translation, University of Bologna, where she carries out her research within the MSCA Global Fellowship “PLURIBO – Plurilingual bottom-up approaches: how to promote the linguistic integration of migrant children in educational settings”, conducted across the University of Bologna, the University of Basel, and the University of California – Los Angeles (UCLA). The project investigates linguistic inclusion practices in multilingual and multicultural educational settings, with a focus on public service interpreting, plurilingualism, and the use of English as a lingua franca.
She previously took part in the Horizon 2020 NEW ABC project, the PRIN “Migrant Children’s Participation and Identity Construction in Education and Healthcare” project, and the Horizon 2020 CHILD-UP project, working on plurilingualism and public service interpreting in school and healthcare settings.
Her research interests include public service interpreting, plurilingualism, and English as a lingua franca, drawing primarily on the methodological tools of Conversation Analysis and ethnomethodology.
