Enrico Rampazzo

Assoaciate professor at the "Giacomo Ciamician" Chemistry Department, University of Bologna since 2019. He holds a degree in Chemistry and a Ph.D. in Chemical Sciences obtained at the University of Padua.

His research interests concern photochemistry, materials chemistry and supramolecular chemistry. He has carried out much of his research in the development of luminescent colloidal systems based on silica nanoparticles, applied to the development of luminescent sensors and labels to be used in the bio-analytical field and in both in vitro and in vivo imaging applications. He is co-author of more than 80 publications on international peer reviewed journals (index h = 30, WoS, November 2022) and co-inventor of four patents.
