Enrico Denti received his master degree cum laude in Electronic Engineering in 1991, his PhD in Computer Engineering in 1998, and has been in force at UniBO since 2000, first as a Research Associate (2000-2004), then as Associate Professor (2004-current). He is affiliated to the Dept. of Computer Science and Engineering (DISI).
He has co-authored over 80 publications in international and national journals, books, conferences and workshops, with over 1500 citations; has (co-)supervised Ph.D students and post-doc researchers, and collaborated to several national and international research projects. Between the 2015 and 2017 he has been the scientific referent of the Bologna unit of the BISON European project (H2020). Currently he is a member of the Bologna unit of the Italian research project "PRIMA (PRivacy Infringements Machine-Advice)", principal investigator prof. Giovanni Sartor.
His main research lines concern Multi-paradigm programming & software engineering, Programming languages and infrastructures, Legal informatics, Coordination models, languages and infrastructures, Multi-Agent Systems (MAS), Internet of Things & Smart Home (IoT).
