1999: Academic Degree in Mechanical Engineering University of Bologna -July, 14th, 1999 - Final Grade 100/100 cum laude. Engineering License (University of Bologna, 1999)

2000     Contract with ENEA (Italian Agency for Energy and Environment) -VROOM project, part of a European Contract between DIEM Department (University of Bologna) European Commission, in partnership with Automobili Lamborghini Holding S.p.A., EFI Technology s.r.l., and ENEA.

Contract with University of Bologna - Agriculture Faculty: evaluation of non-intrusive methodologies to asses fruit ripening.

2001     Started Doctorate Degree courses in Machines and Energy Systems Engineering, University of Bologna. Won a grant by the Italian Ministery of University and Reasearch

Attended Courses as a visting scholar at the Ohio State University (Columbus – OH, USA), third quarter. Worked at the Center of Automotive Research and Intelligent Transportation on a project on rapid control prototyping system for diesel engines.

From 2001 Works on several research activities regulated by contracts between automotive companies  (Ducati, Ferrari, FEV, Lamborghini Magneti Marelli, etc.) e il Dipartimento and the Industrial Engineering Department (DIN).

2002: Won a national concourse for a researcher position at the University of Bologna; October 2002    Started working as a researcher for the University of Bologna; Dicember 2002 Co-founder of Alma Automotive, academic spin-off of the University of Bologna: the company offers services and products to automotive manufacturers (Audi, Borghi&Saveri, Ducati, Ferrari, Jaguar Land Rover, Lamborghini, Magneti Marelli, Maserati, MV Agusta, Piaggio, Porsche, etc.).

2004: Doctorate Degree in Machines and Energy Systems Engineering

2005: Confirmed as a researcher at the University of Bologna.

From 2009: Responsible for research activieties regulated by contracts between the Department of Industrial Engineering and automotive companies (CF3000, Magneti Marelli, Adecco).

2012: Qualified as Associate Professor

2002-2018: Gave lectures on the topics 'Pollutants emission, Engine Testing, Engine Controls' for the Master in vehicle Engineering, organized by the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, and sponsored by Ferrari Auto, Lamborghini, Ducati Corse, Digitek, Magneti Marelli e VM-Motori.

from 2004: Holder of the Course on Machines (from 2010 on integrated with the Course on Energy Systems) for the Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, University of Bologna (Forlì Campus).

2008-2015: Gave lectures on the topics 'pumps selection and control' for the Master in Oil&Gas Plants Design, organized by the University of Bologna and sponsored by ENI Corporate University, ENI exploration & production, tecnomare.

2009: Held lectures on the topics 'Pollutants emissions',  'AFR control' in the PRESTIGE research project, organized by Fondazione Alma Mater in cooperation with Magneti Marelli.

2012, 2014, 2015: Organized a course in Powertrain Calibration, sponsored by Adecco and held at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia and the University of Bologna. Many automotive companies actively cooperated to the course didactics (Eldor, Euro Engineering, HPE-Coxa, Lamborghini, Landi Renzo, Lombardini, Magneti Marelli, Maserati)

2020: Organized a course in Engine Calibration, sponsored by Manpower. Some automotive companies actively cooperated to the course didactics (Motori Minarelli, AVL)

Scientific Activity: publications

2001-2022 Published more than 90 scientific papers, more than 30 on International Journals, more than 50 presented at International Conferences.
