My research interests concern social work, helping professions, organisational processes, and the education of social professionals. This area includes the study of the values, principles, and responsibilities that guide professional social work practice. Possible topics include ethical dilemmas, professional confidentiality, self-determination, dignity, the relationship between professional and institutional mandates, the use of social media, and emerging ethical issues connected with the digitalisation of welfare services.
Professional Identity and Competences in Social Work
I am interested in how social workers and educators construct their professional identity, develop competences, and manage the transition from education to employment. Dissertations may explore the relationship between theoretical knowledge, field experience, relational skills, organisational expectations, and professional recognition.

Supervision can be examined as a space for learning, dialogue, and critical reflection on professional experience. Possible topics include individual and group supervision, single-profession and multiprofessional settings, reflective practice, complex casework, and the contribution of supervision to professional wellbeing and service quality.

This field concerns the different dimensions of professional workload, including workload intensity, responsibility, emotional involvement, decision-making complexity, organisational pressure, and role conflict. Dissertations may focus on risk and protective factors, burnout, organisational and professional sustainability strategies, and the relationship between working conditions and the quality of social interventions.
