Important for EMOS students and graduates: Blue Book Traineeship programme
Important for EMOS students and graduates. Under the Blue Book Traineeship programme the European Commission offers five-month paid traineeships for applicants with a full three-year university degree. The candidate must have completed and obtained a full higher-education degree, corresponding to an EQF level 6 or higher, of at least 180 ECTS credits, or equivalent to at least a completed higher-education cycle.
Eurostat, as one of the Directorate-Generals of the European Commission, plans to publish under this programme up to 5 traineeship posts in different units working on statistical production, methodologies and dissemination.
- Registration for the October 2026 session of the Blue Book Traineeship programme is open. Deadline for applicants: 7 April 2026, 10:00 a.m. (Brussels time)

Applicants who pass the eligibility checks are included in the Virtual Blue Book and can then apply for specific traineeship positions offered by Commission services, agencies and bodies, including Eurostat.
