Elisa Conticelli is Senior assistant professor in Urban and regional planning at the University of Bologna, PhD in Spaces and times of the city and territory. She is expert in analysis and assessment techniques and practices for assessing environmental, economic and social sustainability applied to urban and spatial planning. Notably: decision support methods; urban and rural regeneration strategies and techniques; definition of new solutions and strategies to increase the integrity, environmental health and resilience of the city and reduce its carbon footprint through the improvement and management of environmental resources from the building to the district scale; integration between urban development and transport and promotion of multimodal accessibility and walkability; integration and management of green infrastructures and ecosystem services in the urban environment and their promotion. She is member of the research team in numerous international competitive projects such as H2020 ENLIGHTENme; H2020 RURITAGE; ERA-NET SPN; INTERREG EUROPE MATCH-UP.
