More than 80 publications in Italian, French, English and German (some of them translated in Spanish, Modern Greek and Russian too) in peer-reviewed and interdisciplinary venues, including “class A” journals.
Since 2015, evaluated by the Unibo’s Commission for the Evaluation of University Research (CVRA) of Antiquity, Philological-Literary and Historical-Artistic Sciences, have been rated "AA". In the last 3 years, they have been continuously included in the best 5% of the Area:

AREA OF SPECIALIZATION, RESEARCH INTERESTS

The history of music of antiquity and the transmission and reception of music in early populations, in particular in Greece from Late Antiquity to Medieval and Modern times, also from the point of view of anthropology and in a wide interdisciplinary context.

The transmission and reception of Greek musical treatises in the Renaissance.

Music archaeology in its broadest sense and, over all, in the context of both texts and iconography from the point of view of anthropology and historical ethnomusicology with an interdisciplinary musicological approach.

Sources for a history of traveler’s music.

PUBLICATIONS

She has published six books, including two monographs. Her other publications include more than 80 articles and essays published in musicological as well as philological journals, encyclopedias and books.
