started his research activity on stem cells opening the Bone
Regeneration Laboratory and he started many preclinical and basic
research projects to study bone.
Some of his projects are:
-Study of the application of the demineralised matrix in
oncologic surgery. -Joint European study on the use of the Calcium
Solfate (Osteoset) in chronic osteomyelitis.
-Study of the expression of stromal totipotent cells in the
autologous bone marrow sample.
-Expanded autologous mesenchymal stem cells graft for the
regeneration of the bone in various clinical indications.
-Clinical study of the bone regeneration in the development of
bone cysts in young patients.
-Autologous bone marrow concentrate graft for bone regeneration
in femoral head necrosis.
-Aneurismatic cyst treatment by mininvasive surgery with
demineralised bone matrix and bone marrow concentrate.
-Experimental Clinical Study on the safety and effectiveness of
mesenchymal stem cells implant for the treatment of bone defects
