Curriculum vitae

PhD Candidate at the Department of Electrical, Electronic and Information Engineering “Guglielmo Marconi” (DEI), University of Bologna, affiliated with the Automation and Robotics Laboratory (LAR).

Her research focuses on perception and scene understanding for the robotic manipulation of deformable objects, with particular attention to multimodal perception methods, deep learning–based approaches, and uncertainty estimation in perception models.

Previously, she was involved in the regional project SiMOD, funded by the Emilia-Romagna Region, contributing to the development of deep learning and stereo vision methodologies for real-time 3D reconstruction, segmentation, and recognition of deformable objects in scenarios of varying complexity, as well as to the design of advanced planning and control strategies for bimanual manipulation, based on visual and shape servoing, sensor fusion, and multi-robot coordination.

She also contributes to teaching support activities within Mechatronics and Automation courses.

Education

Master’s Degree in Automation Engineering, University of Bologna (110/110 with honors).
