Undergaduate Education

B.A. Honours Degree in Modern Languages - Italian and Spanish (1973-1979) Universiy of Leeds, United Kingdom. Main topics: Italian and Spanish language and literature, techniques of translation, Latin American geography.
Degree in Interpreting in English (first language) and Spanish (second language) (1979-1985) SSLMIT - University of Trieste, Italy. - Main topics: techniques of interpreting, economics, international organisations.- Dissertation on "Computing in translation".

Teaching experience

From 1986/87 to 1998/99 English language teacher at the University of Trieste (Teacher Training Faculty).
From 1994/95 until 2004/05: part-time contract professor of interpreting from Italian into English (simultaneous, consecutive and dialogue) and English lanuage at the Advanced School for Interpreters and Translator of Bologna University at Forlì.
From October 2006: Research fellow at Advanced School for Interpreters and Translators of Bologna University at Forlì.
