Undergaduate Education

  • B.A. Honours Degree in Modern Languages - Italian and Spanish  (1973-1979) Universiy of Leeds, United Kingdom. Main topics: Italian and Spanish language and literature, techniques of translation, Latin American geography.
  • Degree in Interpreting in English (first language) and Spanish (second language)  (1979-1985) SSLMIT - University of Trieste, Italy. - Main topics: techniques of interpreting, economics, international organisations.- Dissertation on "Computing in translation".

 

Teaching experience

  • From 1986/87 to 1998/99 English language teacher at the University of Trieste (Teacher Training Faculty).

  • From 1994/95 until 2004/05: part-time contract professor of  interpreting from Italian into English (simultaneous, consecutive and dialogue) and English lanuage at the Advanced School for Interpreters and Translator of Bologna University at Forlì.

  • From October 2006: Research fellow at Advanced School for Interpreters and Translators  of Bologna University at Forlì.
