My research focuses on the analysis of complex biological data, with particular emphasis on genomic data and the study of genetic mechanisms underlying human diseases.
I work on the development and application of bioinformatics pipelines for the processing and analysis of genomic variants, using data integration and functional analysis approaches to support gene prioritization. In collaboration with the Computational Genomics Unit at Sant’Orsola-Malpighi Hospital, I contribute to the development of bioinformatics tools for the filtering and prioritization of genomic variants in a clinical context.
This work lies within the field of computational genomics, with applications in the interpretation of sequencing data and the understanding of biological processes related to disease.
