Chiara Mariotti, Architect, graduated with honors at the University of Bologna in 2011, discussing her thesis on Architectural Restoration (seismic vulnerability and conservation).
Since 2012 she has been Teaching Tutor in the courses of Restoration at the DA at the University of Bologna. In 2013 she won a scholarship finalized at the drafting of a code of practice for the conservation and planned and preventive maintenance of the ex Fossoli Camp (Carpi).
In 2017 she took the PhD degree in Architecture at the University of Bologna with a thesis entitled “The restoration of castles in Italy: 1964-2014”. Since the academic year 2017-18 she has been Adjunct Professor at the School of Engineering and Architecture (UniBo) in Cesena.
She has been researching in the field of Architectural Restoration, she has taken part in competitions in Italy and abroad and has published essays and articles on the conservation of historical heritage, many of which presented during international conferences.
