Short Bio

Chiara Mariotti is an Architect, PhD and Researcher in Architectura Restoration at the Department of Construction, Civil Engineering and Architecture at the Università Politecnica delle Marche and Adjust Professor at the Department of Architecture at the University of Bologna.

She graduated with honours in Architectural Restoration at the University of Bologna in 2011 and, soon after, she was Teaching Tutor in the Restoration courses at the DA-UniBo. In 2013, she won a scholarship for the drafting of a preventive and planned conservation programme for the former concentration camp of Fossoli (Carpi).

In 2017, she completed her PhD degree in Architecture at the UniBo and, at the same time, she became Adjunct Professor at the DA. Since 2018, she has been Research fellow in the European H2020 project “ROCK – Regeneration and Optimization of Cultural heritage in creative and Knowledge cities”.

She has taken part in competitions in Italy and abroad and has published essays and articles on cultural heritage conservation, many of which presented during international conferences.
