She is the founder and head (from 2001 to 2020) of the Equine Perinatology Unit Stefano Belluzzi where many critical neonatal foals and mares with high-risk pregnancy are hospitalized every year, with good survival rates.
She carries out her researches in the field of veterinary perinatology, in particular: pathophysiology of perinatal period, placental function, perinatal asphyxia syndrome, sepsis and neonatal intensive care in foals.
