Curriculum vitae

Carla Provitera, a graduate of Education with honors, has focused her studies, work, and research on Mathematics Education. She provides initial and ongoing training, focusing specifically on primary and preschool teachers. She is a contract professor at the SFP degree program at the University of Bologna, where she has led workshops in the fourth and fifth years of the aforementioned program for several years. Since 2015, she has taught the training program for specializing in teaching support for students with disabilities (Special Education: Codes of Logical and Mathematical Language for Preschool and Primary Schools) at the University of Bologna. As a subject expert, she has co-supervised numerous degree theses in Mathematics Education. Since 2020, she has been a member of the Preschool-Primary School research group at the Department of Mathematics at the University of Bologna (Scientific Director: Professor Silvia Benvenuti). Until 2025, she was an internship tutor for the SFP degree program at the University of Bologna. She currently teaches at the IOR hospital school affiliated with IC 19 in Bologna.

He is an active member of the Rally Matematico Transalpino association (Romagna section).
He collaborates with Formath for teacher training (scientific director: Prof. Giorgio Bolondi).
From 2000 to 2024, he collaborated with the Giunti publishing house in Florence, writing mathematics teaching columns for preschool and primary school teachers and for teacher training.
From 1998 to 2001, he was a member of the NRD in Bologna (scientific director: Prof. Bruno D'Amore).
From 1997 to the present, he has given presentations, seminars, and workshops at the Castel S. Pietro Terme Mathematics Conference (scientific directors: Prof. Bruno D'Amore, Prof. Giorgio Bolondi, Prof. Federica Ferretti).
From 1996 to 1999, he collaborated with the Mathesis Group in Reggio Emilia, scientific director: Prof. Paolo Oliva.
