Curriculum vitae

Research Fellow at the Department of Agricultural and Food Sciences of the University of Bologna since 2025 within the project “HEU_101083961 From niche to mainstream – alternative proteins for everybody and everywhere (LIKE-A-PRO)” – CUP:J33C22003350006, supervisor Prof. Francesca Danesi. Her research focuses on evaluating the nutritional and public health impact of integrating alternative proteins into European diets.

She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Dietetics from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia in 2014 and her Master’s Degree in Healthcare Professions of Technical Assistance Sciences from the University of Milan in 2016, with two theses on the use of the ketogenic diet in drug-resistant epilepsy. She subsequently worked as a Research Fellow at the Department of Medicine of the University of Padua (Clinical Dietetics and Nutrition Unit), within the project “NAFLD in menopause: impact of changes in dietary habits,” investigating the role of dietary patterns in women’s health. In 2025, she earned her PhD in Clinical and Experimental Medicine from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, with a dissertation focused on the use of the Modified Atkins Diet in Autosomal Dominant Polycystic Kidney Disease (ADPKD). She has gained clinical experience both through private practice and within clinical research projects at the University of Padua and the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, and she served as a Clinical Dietitian at IRCCS Policlinico Sant’Orsola in Bologna, working in inpatient wards and specialized day hospitals. She is appointed as Subject Expert in Biochemistry (SSD BIOS-07/A) at the University of Bologna and, since 2022, has been a University Tutor for the English-taught course “Human Nutrition: Sustainability and Multidisciplinary Perspective” at the University of Padua. She is currently enrolled in the Advanced Training Course in Longevity Sciences at the University of Bologna.
