Since he is deeply convinced that the thesis work is so much more formative, the more it supports itself on the pillars of commitment and passion (which, together, are the formula of the seriousness of the human life), C. Neri stimulates the students to choose a theme that suits them to conduct their research. However, to those who wished to be advised on the subject, he proposed investigations into his prevailing research interests: Greek poetry (in particular lyric poetry), biblical exegesis, tradition and legacy of classical texts, computer applications to classical philology, peace education.
