Camillo Neri (born 1966) teaches Greek Language and Literature at the University of Bologna. He is interested in Greek poetry (expecially in Greek women poets: Erinna, Sappho), historiography and philosophy, biblical exegesis, humanities and computing, peace education. Director of Dipartimento di Filologia Classica e Medioevale of the University of Bologna (2009-2011) and co-founder of Dipartimento di Filologia Classica e Italianistica (2011), he is a member of the international team «Année Philologique» (as Italian Center’s director), of the journal «Eikasmós. Quaderni Bolognesi di Filologia Classica» (as co-editor in chief) and of the Centro Studi «La permanenza del Classico».
