Barbara Ballarin

Associate professor at the University of Bologna since 2011, she conducts her research in the field of composite and hybrid systems for sensing, catalysis and electrocatalysis, or energy applications. Her research interests focus on the synthesis, characterization, and applications in various sectors of hybrid materials based on hydrogels, cellulose fibers, conducting polymers, or MOFs. She is involved in national and international research projects and collaborates with several European and international  institutions.  Author of numerous publications in pear rewieved journals.
