Barbara Ballarin

Associate professor at the University of Bologna since 2011, conducts her research in the field of preparation of nanostructured systems for sensing, catalysis and electrocatalysis and energy storage. Her research interests are directed in particular to the synthesis and characterization of nanostructured composite (i.e. HA-MNP, HT-MNP-SAM-MNP) for applications in the electrochemical energy storage and in catalysis. Involved in national and international research projects, she collaborates with several institutions in Europe and Latin america. Author of numerous publications in pear rewieved journals.
