Department of Industrial Chemistry "Toso Montanari"

Academic discipline: CHIM/01 Analytical Chemistry

Curriculum vitae

Associate Professor at the University of Bologna since 2011, conducts his research in the field of Analytical chemistry, electrochemistry, with special regard to the preparation, characterization and application of electrodes modified in electrocatlis, sensory and biosensoristics. The research interests are aimed at the preparation and characterization of electrodes modified with conductive polymers; Preparation and characterization of modified electrodes with anionic clay type hydrotalcite (HT); Preparation of ceramic nano-composite electrodes via sol-gel. She is currently focusing on her research into the preparation of functional materials for applications in catalysis, electrocatalysis, as energy device or sensors. Recently, she has investigated on flexible wearable sensors based on cellulose fibers and/or hydrogels.
