Short Bio

Arianna Capirossi is a tutor for the Bachelor's Degree Programme in Lettere (Humanities) and provides academic support for Italian Literature courses in both the Lettere and Communication Sciences programmes. She has served as a tutor for the Orientation and Tutoring Plan for Basic Common Competences (POT CoBasCo 6), and has worked on internationalization initiatives for the Department of the Arts, the Department of Philosophy and Communication, and the Department of Classical Philology and Italian Studies.

She holds a PhD in Italian Studies (awarded on 8 April 2019 by the University of Florence, within the PhD Programme in Philology, Italian Literature, and Linguistics, with Doctor Europaeus certification).

She is qualified to teach Italian, History, and Geography in lower secondary school and Italian Literature in upper secondary school.

Her research interests focus primarily on Humanistic and Renaissance literature and the reception of Latin classics.
