Annarita Ferrante

Full Professor of Architectural Technology, previously Associate Professor since 2014 and Researcher since 2006, her research focuses on sustainable design, with particular reference to techniques, technologies, and methods for the energy and architectural retrofit of the recent building stock (from the 1950s–1960s to the present).

Her current research activities focus on the regeneration of existing settlements from a needs-based and performance-oriented perspective, with special attention to the relationship between energy performance and architectural form, as well as between construction and technological requirements, and social demands and needs, both collective and individual.

Actively involved in numerous international research projects, she collaborates with various academic and entrepreneurial institutions at the European level. Author of numerous publications, she has received several awards and recognitions from national and international Centers and Institutes.
