Research Fellow since 2018 in the framework of the project "Social Research and Territorial Transformations" and Honorary Research Fellow at the Global Development Institute, University of Manchester.
Since 2019 Adjunct Professor at the MA "Geography and Territorial Processes".
Ph.D in Human Geography (2014) at the Universities of Fribourg and Verona, he held post-doctoral fellowships at the CNRS in Paris (2015), at the Leibniz Center for Tropical Marine Research in Bremen (2016) and at the University of Manchester (2017).
His research focuses on Political Ecology, Environmental Politics and Conflicts in relation to territorial and urban transformations with the analysis of empirical case-studies in Central Asia (Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan), South-east Asia (Vietnam) and more recently in Italy.
