Short Bio

Associate Professor of Fluid Machines at the University of Bologna, he has been conducting research since 2000 in the field of energy systems, environmental impact and fluid power applications. Currently he works on low-carbon energy systems based on ORC technology and H2-based energy storage systems. He is in charge of the laboratory of micro-generation technologies. Deputy coordinator of the DIMSAI doctorate. Member of the CIRI-FRAME UNIBO. He has published over 100 scientific papers. Among the awards, the most significant is the ASME John P. Davis Award, received in 2015. Editorial Board Member of Energies and of the Journal of Thermofluids and Review Editor for Frontiers in Fuels. Multi-year scientific collaboration with the CNR.
