MAIN RESEARCH LINES

Effects of opioid peptides and drugs on tumor cell proliferation, migration, inflammatory signaling; expression and function of opioid receptors in neuronal, immune and glial cells; development of novel opioid ligands as innovative analgesics; ligand-directed signaling at opioid receptors; development of innovative drugs (selective calcium channel blockers, muscarinic ligands, integrin-selective antagonist, glucocorticoids).
