Alessandro Soriani

Alessandro Soriani, PhD, is Associate Professor of Special Education and Pedagogy (PAED-02/A) at the Department of Education Sciences of the University of Bologna.

His areas of research include: literacy and media education - with a particular focus on video games - digital citizenship education, the impact of technology on schools and young people, and educational inclusion processes, with a particular focus on international cooperation contexts (Central Africa and Palestine).

He works as a trainer, facilitator and consultant for various governmental and non-governmental organisations at national and international level (including: Department of Education and Culture of San Marino, French Ministry of Education). Since 2016, he has been a pedagogical consultant and expert consultant for the Council of Europe for the Digital Citizenship Education project.
