I have completed the professional “Vertical Farming Course” at Wageningen University & Research (WUR).
This 4-week, 60-hour course was designed for industry specialists and researchers interested in sustainable, high-tech crop production. Led by world-renowned academic and industry instructors, the programme provided a comprehensive understanding of technological, physiological, economic, and sustainability aspects.
The programme covered photobiology, LED costs and efficiency, environmental effects on crop quality, resource use efficiency, micro-climate, plant responses to temperature and CO₂, energy balance, cooling and dehumidification, roots and nutrients, sensors, autonomous farms, mechatronic automation, and business strategies.
