Dr. Alessandro Quadri is currently pursuing a Ph.D. at the Department of Agricultural and Food Sciences (DISTAL) at the University of Bologna. He completed his MSc in Agricultural Sciences and Technologies in September 2020, achieving outstanding scores of 110 cum laude.
In addition to his academic achievements, Dr. Quadri gained valuable industrial experience by working at renowned multinational companies in the sector (Haifa Group and Rijk Zwaan). He further expanded his practical knowledge by serving as an R&D Proiect Coordinator at Unitec S.p.A, an international group specializing in agro-industrial automation, from December 2020 to December 2021.
Driven by his passion for innovation and sustainability, Dr. Quadri embarked on an Innovative Industrial Ph.D. course (PON) in "Health, Safety, and Green Systems" from January 2022. He collaborates with the Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering group, alongside a leading international company in horticulture LED manufacturing, C-LED S.r.l.
