Associate Professor at the University of Bologna, conducts research in the field of experimental physics, with a particular focus on electronic technologies applied to particle accelerators. Currently, his research is centered on the ATLAS experiments at CERN in Geneva and DUNE experiments in the United States. Recently, he has also been involved in Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence, and Quantum Computing, following new international research initiatives in applied physics.
Engaged in national and international research projects, he collaborates with various research institutions, with the National Institute of Nuclear Physics being the foremost among them, where he has coordinated numerous experimental research activities. The author of numerous publications, he teaches General Physics and Electronics at the University of Bologna. He is tutor, member of the Consiglio Scientifico of Collegio Superiore of the Alma Mater
